This year, we’re celebrating our 5th anniversary with a series of music events, starting with The Rest Is Noise 34 (TRIN 34), happening on February 29, 2020, 8:00 PM, at Route 196, Quezon City.
The show will feature performances from electronic producer BABYBLUE, a collaborative set from hip-hop artists BLKD and Calix (a special live performance of their critically acclaimed 2019 album, KOLATERAL), singer-songwriter BP Valenzuela, indie pop-rock outfit Cheats, indie rock band Musical O, lo-fi pop/rock quartet Ourselves the Elves, and up-and-coming garage rock band Parlor Parlor.
Door charge for the show is PHP250 before 8:00 PM, and PHP300 after 8:00 PM.
As part of the anniversary campaign, the 34th show harkens back to TRIN’s earlier days of producing regular pocket shows, providing new, underground artists with a platform to share their music. After two years of producing big shows and festivals, we wanted to go back to curating more pocket shows. Not only it’s arguably more accessible to fellow music fans, we also feel like these are the shows that often allow us a more diverse experience with room to experiment.
Our 5th anniversary showcase will happen on April 5, 2020 at 123 Block, Mandaluyong City, with more details to be announced in the following weeks.
