When I first saw this video on my timeline, the first thing that came to mind is: Are they named after a pain reliever ointment? Maybe. I’d bet yes.
I would’ve been content to end this piece at that, but in the midst of the Jabberwocky-esque lyrics and visual likeness to Kung Fu Hustle, this extremely fascinating track just took a soul-inflected turn that genuinely caught me off-guard. It was only about 10 seconds long and something I’ve heard before—everything in this, in fact, is not groundbreaking on its own—but it is that cohesive sum and cheekiness that make it engaging.
